Official: Volkswagen sells plant in Kaluga without buyback option

MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- The Russian assets of Volkswagen, including a plant in Kaluga, were sold to an affiliate of Avilon without a buyback option, Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Albert Karimov said on Wednesday.

"Without the option," Karimov said.

Volkswagen announced the deal without disclosing its amount or terms at the end of May. The assets were bought by Art-Finance affiliated with President of dealer Avilon Andrei Pavlovich.
